Understanding Your Installment Payment Plan (IPP) Bill

If you enrolled in the Tax Collector’s Office Installment Payment Plan to manage your annual tax payments, here are a few important things to know:

  • You should have received your first installment bill sent by the Palm Beach County Tax Collector.
  • To take advantage of the discounted payment amount, you must pay the amount due shown for the June 30 payment date.

If you pay after June 30, you must pay the amount due shown for the July 31 payment date.

DO NOT PAY BOTH THE JUNE 30 AMOUNT DUE AND THE JULY 31 AMOUNT DUE.  YOU ONLY NEED TO PAY ONE AMOUNT DEPENDING ON WHEN YOU MAKE YOUR PAYMENT.

If your first installment payment is not received by July 31, 2021, you will be removed from the Installment Payment Plan and your full tax payment will be due November 1, 2021 – March 31, 2022.

If you have already submitted your payment and your payment total included both the June 30 amount due AND the July 31 amount due, the Tax Collector’s Office will issue you a refund for the excess amount.  There is no need to contact our office as your refund will be sent to you within three weeks.
