Tax Collector’s Office Earns Top Honors for Communications in State Contest

Agency Wins 2019 Radiance Awards from the Public Relations Society of America Sunshine District

West Palm Beach, Fla. – Constitutional Tax Collector Anne M. Gannon today announced her agency received top honors for communications excellence in a prestigious state contest recognizing outstanding public relations programs. The agency was recognized Friday
with two 2019 Radiance Awards, the highest possible achievement, by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Sunshine District at its annual ceremony. The awards highlight public relations campaigns and tactics that demonstrate excellence in research, planning, implementation and evaluation, as well as individuals who have shown great commitment to the profession.

The Tax Collector’s Office earned a Radiance Award in the Single-Issue Publication, Print category for its 2019 Tax Planner & Services Guide. This award recognized the many design and readability improvements made to this popular publication. Debuting a fresh look and new content,
the 2019 Tax Planner & Services Guide is a comprehensive resource designed to help clients understand the full range of services offered by the Tax Collector’s Office.

The agency took home a second Radiance Award in the Newsletters, Digital category for
Tax Talk with Anne Gannon.” The monthly newsletter educates clients about tax collector services, important tax deadlines and other agency news. Tax Talk is distributed by email and online at www.pbctax.com.

“To be recognized at the state level for our communications work is a significant accomplishment for our agency,” said Tax Collector Gannon. “The awards demonstrate that we produce high quality work.”

The Tax Collector’s Office has earned local, state and national awards this year for communications and marketing excellence. The award-winning work includes publications and several internal and external communications projects.
