$3.7 Billion in Property Tax Revenue Collection Begins Nov. 1

West Palm Beach, Fla. – Constitutional Tax Collector Anne M. Gannon today announced the collection of 2018 property taxes will begin as planned on Nov. 1, 2018. Gannon’s office began mailing 612,899 bills to Palm Beach County property owners this week.

“I want to help clients save time and money this property tax season. The best way to do that is to pay online at and use eCheck which is free,” said Gannon. “Clients should also take advantage of early payment discounts.”

Property owners who pay property taxes in full in November receive a 4 percent discount. Early payment discounts continue with 3 percent in December, 2 percent in January and 1 percent in February. There is no discount available for payments made in March. Property taxes become delinquent Apr. 1, 2019.

Property owners can pay by credit card but Gannon wants everyone to be aware of the 2.5 percent convenience fee applied to each transaction. This fee is charged and collected by the credit card vendor.

“My office does not retain the convenience fee,” Gannon said. “And we cannot accept credit card payments over the phone.”

Gannon’s office also released this list of the top ten Palm Beach County property taxpayers based on the amount of taxes billed:
