West Palm Beach, Fla. – – Constitutional Tax Collector Anne M. Gannon is pleased to announce that her office received multiple national industry awards at the 2023 Aumentum Customer Excellence (ACE) Awards ceremony held in September in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Lisa Redding (ACE) Award for Project Management was awarded to two Palm Beach County Tax Collector managers, Michelle Harris, and AJ Balram. These two employees received their awards for exemplary leadership in managing an event, project, or process by demonstrating confidence, teamwork, determination, positivity, leadership, effective change management and communication. “Michelle and AJ were instrumental in ensuring a complex upgrade of our property tax software was implemented without a hitch. Michelle’s leadership combined with AJ’s management of this project ensured a successful launch, allowing our office to collect, manage and disburse property taxes efficiently and accurately in Palm Beach County,” said Gannon.
The office was also awarded the Jurisdiction of the Year Award for its nimble response when the COVID-19 pandemic arrived, and the office’s quick implementation of a reservation-only process to manage in-person transactions in each of the six tax collector service centers in the county. The office was also recognized for its commitment to delivering exceptional service by offering more convenient opportunities for clients to do business online and enhancing the reservation-making process. “It is extremely rewarding that our agency is being recognized nationally for the pioneering innovations that help to deliver industry-leading customer satisfaction results. I am so proud that the work our team does, day in and day out, is recognized nationally,” said Gannon.
