PROPERTY TAX

How can I check to see if my 2019 property tax has been paid?

Follow these steps to check your account right here on our website.

  • Click the green “Pay Online” tab on the top of the page. You will see our Pay Online page.
  • Click “Pay Real Estate Property Tax.” Follow the instructions to search for your property.
  • When the results are returned, click your Property Control Number to view your account.
  • If there is an amount due, you will see that amount in the Collection Cart in the upper right corner. If there is no amount due, the Collection Cart will read “No payment due for this account.”

Can I make a partial payment on my 2019 property tax?

We cannot accept partial payment for your 2019 property tax. If you are interested in making quarterly payments for your upcoming 2020 property taxes, please sign up for our budget-friendly Installment Payment Plan. The deadline to apply is April 30, 2020. Apply here now.

How do I wire funds to your office?

How can I check the total amount due for property tax (current and delinquent)?

Follow these steps to view current and delinquent amounts due right here on our website.

  • Click the green “Pay Online” tab on the top of this page. You will see our Pay Online page.
  • Click “Pay Real Estate Property Tax.” Follow the instructions to search for your property.
  • When the results are returned, click your Property Control Number to view your account.
  • If there is an amount due, you will see that amount in the Collection Cart in the upper right corner. If there is no amount due, the Collection Cart will read “No payment due for this account.”

PLEASE NOTE: If there is a Tax Deed Application (TDA), you must call 561-355-2264 to get the full amount due.
 

DRIVER LICENSE

Will there be an extension to the 30-day driver license renewal period?

Under the direction of Governor Ron Desantis, an Emergency Order has been executed by Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles Executive Director Terry L. Rhodes. 

  • All Florida driver licenses and identification cards set to expire between March 16, 2020, and April 15, 2020 will be granted a 60-day extension beyond their current expiration date.
  • All Florida driver licenses and identification cards set to expire between April 16, 2020, and April 30, 2020 will be granted a 30-day extension beyond their current expiration date.
  • All Florida driver licenses and identification cards set to expire between May 1, 2020, and May 31, 2020 will be granted a 30-day extension beyond their current expiration date.
  • This executive order does not remove any stops or holds on a driver license.

How do I renew my driver license?

If you have a REAL ID driver license and have not previously renewed online, you can renew on our website. Click the green “Pay Online” tab at the top of this page. You will see our Pay Online page. Click “Renew Your Driver License.” You will be re-directed to the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicle (FLHSMV) website.

Palm Beach County residents who do not have a REAL ID driver license or who have already renewed their driver license online will need to visit one of our offices when we resume in-person service. Palm Beach County residents are encouraged to make an appointment.

How do I make an appointment for driver license service?

Appointments book quickly. Make your appointment as soon as possible following these steps:

  • Click the “Make a Driver License appointment” tab at the top of this page.
  • Click the green “Palm Beach County Residents Only” button. You will be re-directed to the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicle “Online Appointment Service and Information System (OASIS)” page.
  • Click the link that reads “I have a Florida driver license.”
  • Select “Make an appointment with OASIS.”
  • On the next page, answer the question regarding a sign language interpreter.
  • Palm Beach County residents should select Palm Beach County from the drop-down menu.
  • Select your citizenship status.
  • Select this service type: Renew Florida License.
  • Select one of our five Palm Beach County office locations and a preferred date and time.

We will send you an email confirmation when you schedule your appointment.

Is the REAL ID deadline extended?

Due to COVID-19, the Department of Homeland Security extended the REAL ID deadline to Oct. 1, 2021. This means residents who are not REAL ID-compliant may continue using their valid driver license or state identification card until Oct. 1, 2021.

My driver license is suspended. How do I get it re-instated?

Perform a free online driver license check. Follow the instructions to re-instate your driver license. If you have a Financial Responsibility (FR) or D6 suspension, please call us at 561-355-2264 for additional assistance.

 

MOTOR VEHICLE

How do I renew my vehicle registration online?

Follow these steps to renew your vehicle registration right here on our website up to 90 days before it expires:

  • Click the green “Pay Online” tab at the top of this page. You will see our Pay Online page.
  • Click “Renew Vehicle and Vessel Registrations.”
  • At the bottom of the Registration Renewal Payment Center page, click the green “Accept and Continue” button under “Ready to Renew?”
  • You will be re-directed to the Constitutional Tax Collector’s Online Registration Renewal System.
  • You can enter your vehicle information one of three ways:
    • Enter the PIN number on your registration renewal notice
    • Search for your vehicle by VIN, license plate number or driver license number
    • Enter your information manually
  • Online renewals are normally processed in five business days.

What do I need to do to title my vehicle in Florida?

If your vehicle is currently titled in Florida, please visit our Vehicles Titled in Florida page for more information about transferring the title. If your vehicle is titled in another state, please visit our Vehicles Previously Titled Out of State page.

How much does it cost to transfer my title?

Title Transfer/Duplicate - $75.25

Mail electronic title - additional $2.50

Expedited title - additional $10.00

What do I need to do to surrender my license plate?

While our offices are closed to the public, you may surrender your license plate by mail. Send the plate with your request to cancel it to:
