West Palm Beach, Fla. – Constitutional Tax Collector Anne M. Gannon shared important information today for business owners who intend to apply for financial assistance through Palm Beach County’s Restart Business Grants Program. Applications for the Restart Business Grants program must be submitted on the county’s website from Sept. 25, 2020, to Oct. 9, 2020.
“Business owners will be required to submit a copy of their valid local business tax receipt to apply for a grant,” said Gannon. “We have instructions on our website at www.pbctax.com to help business owners obtain a copy of their current local business tax receipt or apply for a new business tax receipt.”
The fastest way to obtain a copy of your current local business tax receipt is to submit a Local Business Tax contact form at www.pbctax.com. A copy will be emailed to you. Clients may also request a copy by emailing ClientAdvocate@pbctax.com or calling 561-355-2264.
Business owners who need a local business tax receipt may apply by mail or in person.

As of August 26, 2020, the Palm Beach County CARES for Business provided Restart Business Grants to almost 3,000 businesses during the first application period which opened May 27, 2020. The average award was $17,008 with 917 businesses receiving the maximum award of $25,000.
