Administrative Assistant – IT

$38,000/yr (non-exempt)

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparing and editing routine correspondence and monthly departmental performance reports including charts and graphs;
  • Preparing specialized documents, statistical reports, forms, purchase orders and correspondence requiring discretion and independent action on problems that may be encountered;
  • Coordinating Chief Information Officer’s calendar, inclusive of appointment setting, modification and cancellation;
  • Maintaining and updating fiscal records and department logs;
  • Receiving telephone calls and visitors, handling inquiries, and referring complex matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Acting as back up for Support Analyst, creating work tickets as needed to ensure appropriate tracking of work;
  • Monitoring inventory of department supplies and processing orders as needed.

Qualifications:

Qualifications include at least 60 hours of college level credits supplemented by five years previous experience and/or training that includes administrative experience, client service, and proficiency with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
