Digital Fingerprinting for State Licensure

Live Scan fingerprinting is the process of capturing fingerprints digitally. Fingerprints are “rolled” across a glass plate on a Live Scan machine and scanned. There is no ink used and fingerprints are submitted electronically. Services available daily by appointment only 8:40 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. Appointments are made online only for digital fingerprinting and TSA Pre✓® services at www.identogo.com or call 1-800-528-1358.

TSA PreCheck®

TSA PreCheck® allows travelers to experience faster, more efficient screening at participating U.S. airport checkpoints for domestic and international travel. Services available by appointment only, 8:40 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. Appointments are made online only for digital fingerprinting and TSA PreCheck® services at www.identogo.com or call 1-800-528-1358.

Hunting and Fishing Licenses

As an agent for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, we sell hunting licenses, fresh and saltwater fishing licenses, waterfowl stamps and game management permits. One-year, five-year or lifetime hunting and fishing licenses are available.

There is no need to visit our office. You can purchase these licenses online. Licenses purchased online are available immediately to print or reprint. Most licenses are issued annual and expire 12 months from the date of issue. Lifetime and senior citizen fishing licenses are available.

Persons with disabilities may obtain a no-fee hunting and fishing license at any of our service centers or online. For applicant requirements, please visit the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission website at www.myfwc.com.

Please note: Anyone born on or after June 1, 1975, must present a valid hunter safety certification card prior to being issued a hunting license (excluding lifetime licenses).

Florida Birth Certificates

Can’t find your Florida birth certificate? A Florida-born citizen can get a certified copy of their birth certificate by making a reservation at any of our service center locations. Applicants (self, parent, guardian or legal representative) must provide a valid photo identification to obtain a birth certificate.

Acceptable forms of ID include:

  • Driver license
  • State identification card
  • Passport
  • Military identification card

Fees:

  • Certified birth certificate: $21.25
  • Additional copies ordered at the same time: $10.00 each

Birth certificate payments are cash only. Births over 100 years old or those that are under seal of a court order must be requested from the Florida Department of Health, Bureau of Vital Statistics. For a record under seal, please contact in writing: Bureau of Vital Statistics, Attn: Vital Records Section, P.O. Box 210, Jacksonville, FL 32231-0042. New Business Listing Subscription

We offer new Palm Beach County business listings to the general public through our subscription service. To request access:

  1. Complete the Application for New Business Listing Service.
  2. Return completed form and payment to our office. Annual subscription fee is $120, payment must be in certified funds.

Concealed Weapon License

Our office does not issue concealed weapon licenses. Please visit the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for information on how and where to obtain a concealed weapon license and fingerprinting.
