Anne M. Gannon
Anne is the Constitutional Tax Collector for Palm Beach County. Elected by an overwhelming majority in 2006 and re-elected in 2008 and 2012, Anne is the first woman to hold this office.
Anne is responsible for the collection and disbursement of over 3 billion dollars in Palm Beach County tax revenues. Her agency also manages the issuance of REAL ID compliant driver licenses and state-issued ID cards. There are over 300 employees and the agency has one central administrative office and seven service centers. Service centers average over 4,000 customers daily.
Anne's top priorities are to deliver outstanding customer service, improve agency processes, and increase operational efficiencies. She has received local, state and national recognition for these efforts. Anne received the "Excellence In Financial Operations" Award from the Florida Tax Collectors Association and the "Excellence in Government Leadership Award" from the National Association of Government Accountants. In 2010, Anne was invited to speak about her innovations and quality management at the International Deming Research Center at Fordham University.
