Property Tax Installment Payment Due
West Palm Beach, FL – Anne Gannon, Constitutional Tax Collector, reminds property owners that the second installment for 2013 taxes must be received in her office by Monday, September 30. “If you pay by installments, I encourage you to make your payment as soon as possible,” said Gannon. “The penalty for missing the deadline is loss of the discount.”
Online payments are encouraged. According to the Tax Collector online payments are up 26% over 2012. “Paying online is easy, convenient and fast,” said Gannon. E-checks and credit cards are accepted. E-checks are free. Credit card vendors charge a convenience fee for each transaction. Payments can also be made by mail or at a service center. Convenient lobby drop boxes are available at all service locations. Service centers only accept cash and check payments.
The remaining 2013 installment payment deadlines are:
- December 31 (3rd installment)
- March 31 (4th installment)
Anyone who did not make the first payment in June was automatically removed from the plan and will receive a tax bill in early November.
More information on the Installment Payment Plan is available online.
